Chapel of Joy Wedding - Waukomis, OK

I recently got to shoot at the gorgeous Chapel of Joy, just outside Enid, OK.

From the moment I walked in the door the staff there was so friendly and accommodating.

I got to meet LaDonna from Uptown Florist (in Enid), just as she was finishing the floral setup. The flowers at Alison's wedding are some of my favorites that I've ever shot.

The beautiful, fresh colors against the backdrop of a bright white chapel full of natural light made taking photos so easy. Everything was beautiful!

And it was so good to see Alison again and meet all of her sweet family!

The bridal prep room was just as bright and beautiful as the chapel, and Alison had so many good friends there to help her get ready for her big day!

I love a small wedding (my husband and I eloped), so Alison's ceremony was perfect. Family photos took a little longer than normal because everyone at the wedding was family, lol, but I loved that!

Instead of a wedding cake, Alison had delicious wedding pies!

After the cake cutting and orange soda toast, I stole Mateo and Alison away for a few minutes of bride and groom photos.

Earlier in the day I had visited with the lovely people at Buffalo Point down the street, and they were kind enough to let us take some portraits in their gorgeous vineyard!

We didn't get sunset lighting because a storm was moving in, but instead we had a beautiful, stormy blue sky as a backdrop!

My favorite part of the evening though was taking photos at Alison's great grandfather's farm truck, that Alison used to drive in high school. :)

I love anything at weddings that ties in grandparents and great-grandparents, and using the farm truck as a getaway car was the perfect way to continue the theme of family through the very end of the day.

After a first dance and some more time visiting with family, Alison and Mateo had a sparkler and confetti exit out to their getaway truck!

And Alison had the nicest bridesmaids! I have never seen a bridal party spend so much work picking up confetti piece by piece, lol.

It was clear to see that Alison and Mateo are both very loved, and they have an amazing foundation to build their new family on! :)
