A year ago today I made my first trip back to OKC after moving to Arkansas. I got up super early to leave, and was about a hour down the road when I got a text from Shanda saying they were headed to the hospital. It was too late to go back and grab my camera, so I just planned to get whatever images I could with my iPhone.
Thankfully it was just before COVID had shut everything down, so visitors were still allowed in hospitals. I felt so grateful to be able to be a part of Quinn’s first few moments, as I tried to tuck myself in a corner, out of the way snapping pictures on my iPhone, while Quinn got his footprints made, King got to hold him for the first time, and Elisha brought in Chick-Fil-A for everyone. 😊
It’s a year later now, but Quinn is still bringing so much joy to his family. Although he was born into a world in chaos, he knew what he was doing and came at just the right time, when we all needed his happy little attitude the most. 😊
I know 2020 was a hard year for a lot of people, but baby Quinn made it a happy one for the Glover/Williams families. Here’s to ninety-nine more happy ones! Happy birthday Quinn!
